As National Color Brand Manager for PPG Pittsburgh Paints, Ms. Schlotter is the creative force behind the custom color palettes of multiple collections including its signature Voice of Color, Harmony, Atmospheric and annual Color Trends. Each is available to the public at-large inside the 2,600 shops of PPG Pittsburgh Paints retailers located nationwide and in Canada. |

An expert in color theory, selection and application, Ms. Schlotter’s expert insight on how to size up a space and pair it with one or more hues has undoubtedly helped solve dilemmas for many consumers, designers, professional painters, builders and architects. Her guidance is highly sought after as evidenced by the high turnout at the color show events that she has held across the United States.
A native of Pittsburgh, Ms. Schlotter’s industry career spans 18 years with extensive experience in multiple aspects of the paint development process. Her product portfolio includes the Pure Performance line of eco-friendly, zero VOC and low odor paint
As a research leader, Ms. Schlotter’s focus includes the influence and trends of architectural color for the home as well as commercial venues including retail, hotel and office buildings in the United States and abroad.
A professional member of ASID, IIDA, NKBA and CMG, Ms. Schlotter holds a Bachelor’s of Art in English from the University of Pittsburgh plus an MBA from Duquesne University. Additionally, she serves on the PPG Global Color Board which includes stylists from more than 10 countries and diverse product segments, including automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics and flooring.
